Dream Boots

Today I quit facebook, but not before salvaging all the pictures I uploaded to the site.

I enjoy Quality time on the Internet: time spent doing things with lasting meaning and value, like making connections with people I don’t already know in real life.

I will not miss the “news feed” constantly updating me on what people I knew in high school are doing in farmville. Never in the time my facebook account was active did I have any desire to “bite chumps,” or to process meaningless “notifications” for groups I didn’t care anything about.

I will not miss my “friends.”
